Project overview
The Sustainable Modular Houses for People in Need- HOPE project is innovative in that it proposes a methodology and design principles to embed a Sustainable Economy (SE) approach at a formalised, institutional level, considering the minimum use of resources and materials as well as the option to further exploit those through an upcycling process after the end of each use.
Its an Erasmus+ (Project Number: 2021-1-EL01-KA220-VET-000025502) that aims to fill a gap in Vocational Education and Training and create new training course focusing on Sustainable Modular Houses design and constauction. The core idea of this project is to add new skills to a number of professionals (engineers, technicians etc) related to the building sector providing them with knowledge about the most recent available technologies and methods and shifting their competencies towards a novel and sustainable approach regarding the building construction (from design to implementation).
The Innovative Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) in the field of designing modular houses has been designed for 2 focus groups: Engineers and Technician. The two courses are available in 5 languages, and consist of 5 leatning units . Each of 5 learning units consist of an introductory video, related training material, related audiovisual materials and the final assessment procedure. You are invited to go through this great learning experience with us!
